IRISH NIGHT more information 

An evening of music and dancing with an Irish theme. Music is being supplied by the popular ceilidh band Bodgers Mate and a great atmosphere is guaranteed. There's a bar, and a hearty home-made supper is included. Fancy dress is optional, but we're hoping to bring a touch of Father Ted's Craggy Island to the village, or perhaps the odd leprechaun or two. Tickets are £12.50 available from the village shop or by phoning 01780 410957, and proceeds will go towards the upkeep of the hall. Castle Bytham is mid-way between Stamford and Grantham.

10:00 am to 1:00 pm. Ancient woodland, game coverts, veteran trees and an attractive valley …..see them all on this 5½ mile walk. We will explore the reasons why historic settlements can be found here, along with evidence of glacial action on the old seacliff!

• Guided walks are free of charge, however the Lincolnshire Wolds Countryside Service may collect donations for organisations directly relating to the events, such as hire of village halls. Any bus fares or car parking fees need to be paid for.
• Children are welcome, but under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult.
• Please keep dogs on a short lead at all times.
• For all events you will need to bring your own food and drink, however please support local businesses such as village pubs and shops.
• Please bring suitable clothing for wet weather, including suitable footwear for muddy paths.
• A leader or representative will be at the start of every event, whatever the weather.
• If you are unsure of your capability to complete an event, please contact the Lincolnshire Wolds Countryside Service for further information.
• Please note our office is only staffed Monday to Friday.
