Wicked Stepmother’s World operates from Home Farm nestled in the Lincolnshire Wolds. We run a few acres in a lovely old walled garden growing vegetables, fruit, vines for making wine, sheep, pigs and hens, guinea fowl and ducks.

Courses, workshops, demonstrations and talks all reflect my interests and what excites me including living sustainably, cooking and gardening, keeping animals, traditional rural crafts and skills as well as the arts and crafts.

The 2010 Programme follows the seasonal calendar. Additional workshops will be added to the programme over the year so keep up to date by joining Diary Updates a monthly diary of events, new workshops, information and special deals.

High on the Hills over Horncastle!
10:00 am to 3:00 pm approx. Catch the bus for an enjoyable car-free walk. This 8½ mile linear walk follows the Viking Way from Horncastle up to Fulletby then across rolling countryside to Ashby Puerorum and finishing at Hagworthingham.

Please Note: Bus fare is applicable.

Depart : Lincoln bus station 9:00 am, County Hospital 9:12 am, Wragby 9:29 am, arriving Horncastle at 9:50 am
OR:
Depart: Skegness bus station 9:00 am, Burgh-le-Marsh 9:12 am, Spilsby 9:30 am, Hagworthingham 9:42 am, arriving Horncastle at 9.55 am.

Return buses depart hourly in each direction from Hagworthingham.

Event information

• Guided walks are free of charge, however the Lincolnshire Wolds Countryside Service may collect donations for organisations directly relating to the events, such as hire of village halls. Any bus fares or car parking fees need to be paid for.
• Children are welcome, but under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult.
• Please keep dogs on a short lead at all times.
• For all events you will need to bring your own food and drink, however please support local businesses such as village pubs and shops.
• Please bring suitable clothing for wet weather, including suitable footwear for muddy paths.
• A leader or representative will be at the start of every event, whatever the weather.
• If you are unsure of your capability to complete an event, please contact the Lincolnshire Wolds Countryside Service for further information.

PATCHWORK: TRINKET BOX WORKSHOP more information 

This one day workshop is an introduction to free machine stitching. Layer fabrics-drop the feed dogs on your sewing machine and stitch to create a tiny trinket box, use the off cuts to make a brooch or wrist band.
